Private customers International Motor Insurance Card Important information on the International Motor Insurance Card (formerly known as the “Green Card”)
The International Motor Insurance Card, formerly known as the “Green Card”, serves as evidence when you enter a foreign country that the vehicle specified on the card has sufficient liability insurance cover. There is no insurance cover in those countries whose abbreviations are struck through on the card.
What’s new?

White paper

Since 1 January 2020, it has been permitted to print the International Motor Insurance Card not only on green, but also on white paper. As a result, we will be issuing our policyholders with the International Motor Insurance Card on white paper with immediate effect.
